ACCESSIBILITY

AcroPrints is a small independent shop run by a tiny team. We want this store to be usable by as many people as possible, and we build accessibility into the site itself — not as an afterthought or an overlay widget.

WHAT WE AIM FOR

We aim to follow recognized accessibility practices aligned with WCAG 2.1/2.2 Level AA. We don't claim certification or perfection — accessibility is ongoing work, and we treat barriers as bugs to fix.

WHAT'S BUILT IN

  • Semantic page structure — landmarks, headings, lists, real buttons and links
  • Keyboard navigation across menus, filters, product options, cart, and checkout, with a "skip to main content" link on every page
  • Visible focus indicators for keyboard users
  • Escape key and focus management on dialogs (cart drawer, search, mobile menu)
  • Labeled form fields with accessible error announcements
  • Descriptive alt text on product imagery
  • Reduced-motion support for users who prefer it
  • Toast notifications announced to screen readers

KNOWN LIMITATIONS

  • Product artwork is still placeholder imagery — final designs will carry proper descriptive alt text
  • The PayPal payment window is rendered by PayPal; its accessibility is governed by PayPal's own implementation
  • Some third-party embeds (if enabled later) may not meet the same standard
